The Fitzrovia Street Party and Community Dinner will be held on Saturday 5 September.

The event will take place at The Warren playground at the north end of Whitfield Street and is being organised and hosted by young people.

“The event is expected to bring together over 400 young people, local residents and other supporters to enjoy live performances and free sit down dinner provided by a local restaurant,” say the organisers.

FYA was founded by young adults in the summer of 1997 and runs projects designed and organised by young people for young people. Activities include festivals, sports tournaments, peer education programmes and youth media projects.

Andre Schott, FYA’s founding director, says “We are really looking forward to holding our birthday party in The Warren this Saturday, the place where it all began 18 years ago.”

The Fitzrovia Street Party and Community Dinner: 3pm to 6pm Saturday 5 September 2015, The Warren, Whitfield Place, (north end of Whitfield Street) Fitzrovia, London W1. Free event.
