Bike Week is an annual opportunity to promote cycling, and show how cycling can easily be part of everyday life by encouraging everyday cycling for everyone.

Bike Week promotes the social, health and environmental benefits of cycling and aims to get people to cycle to work or school, the local shops or just to visit friends. The 2015 event will take place from 13 to 21 June.

At the Whitfield Gardens cycling roadshow you can pick up a free cycle map, have a free bike service, and also get your bike security marked for free. You’ll also be able to sign up for free cycle training courses.

The event is being organised by Camden Council, TfL, The Fitzrovia Partnership and Fitness First to increase cycling, and promote the benefits to non-cyclists.

The Fitzrovia Partnership is also working with TfL and the London Borough of Camden to promote the London Cycle Challenge 2015.

“The London Cycle Challenge is open to all businesses and individuals who work or live in London,” says Tony Garratt of The Fitzrovia Partnership. “All you have to do is click on our unique link to take part and encourage your colleagues and friends to participate by cycling for 10 minutes or more.”

Businesses encouraging the highest percentage of staff to take part will be rewarded with enviable titles and great prizes.
