The fair is organised by the Parent Teacher Association at the school. Parent Gary Sollof said he was getting very excited about the event and told Fitzrovia News:
“There will be food and drink including cakes, sushi, samosas, popcorn and dumplings, hot chocolate, mulled wine and more.
“There’s a Santa’s grotto where every child will get a small present. There will also be games, a lucky dip, an adults tombola, arts and craft table, buzz wire, skittles, pin nose on Rudolph, face painting, tattoos, maybe henna hand painting, jewellery for sale, cracker game,” he said. All Souls Clubhouse are also organising games at the fair.
The fair is being sponsored by a local estate agent. Jonathan Hudson told Fitzrovia News “Hudsons Property will again be the proud sponsor of the All Souls School Winter Fair. This will be the third fair we have sponsored.
“This summer, Hudsons ran a Colouring in Competition for the children with the winner collecting tickets to see the Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre. Top entries where showcased on the Hudsons Wall on the corner of Rathbone Place and Charlotte Street, it was great for the children to have their work displayed in the public domain to help build interest in the subject and to be proud of their work.
“Hudsons very much believe in giving back in the local community. This Friday there will be a variety of food and beverages on offer at the Winter Fair as well as a first prize of an Ipad in the raffle, if you are in the area please pop in and support the local school”.
The school is also selling Christmas cards which have been sponsored by Sir Robert McAlpine who are building the residential and commercial development known as Fitzroy Place on the site of the Middlesex Hospital.
