Jazz In The Round is for all lovers of jazz and contemporary music on the last Monday of each month, with a DJ starting at 6pm and the first of 3 bands on at 8pm. On Monday 25 March your host is Jez Nelson of BBC Jazz On 3, introducing the three acts this month: Femi Temowo Trio, a MOBO Award nominated musician; Gail Brand, described by The Wire as “the most exciting trombone player for years”; and the Leo Richardson Quartet, a group with a passion for the music of  John Coltrane. Lunch Hour Lectures are an opportunity for anyone to sample the exceptional research work taking place at UCL, in bite sized chunks. Speakers are drawn from across the university, and lectures frequently showcase new research and recent academic publications. Website.
