Historic pub is victim of brewers’ cull

The Black Horse pub in Rathbone Place has been closed and sold to an owner who wants to redevelop the residential accommodation above. London & Central Estates had acquired the 5,000 sq ft pub from Mitchells & Butlers for £1.95m. Continue reading →

Derwent London buy Central Cross on Tottenham Court Road

Derwent London have purchased a huge office and retail complex on Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London. The 251,000 square foot freehold site was purchased for £146m. The company intend to refurbish and develop on the site and have plans to create a business improvement district (BID) and increase retail and eateries in Fitzrovia. Continue reading →
