By News Reporters Nati Gallery in Warren Street is hosting an exhibition and sale of works by artists with learning difficulties on Tuesday 14 May. The artists are supported by the charity Artbox London.

Encounter promises to be an evening of fun and laughter with art inspired by the two extremes of humanity: Nature and Industry.

Bringing pencil drawings of human/animal hybrid characters into physical being through model-making and re-imagining cityscapes which incorporate subtle humour and hidden symbolism, Encounter express an intriguing surrealism determined by maturity and depth.

Artbox London creates and sells high quality fine art by people with learning disabilities and is dedicated to raising awareness of the talents and abilities of the artists it works with.

“Our vision is a world where everyone is given the opportunity to be creative and reach their full potential through art” says Madeline Alterman, Founder Artbox London.

Encounter is hosted in partnership with Say Media and Nati Gallery.

Encounter: 5pm to 9pm Tuesday 14 May 2013, Nati gallery, 22 Warren Street, London W1T 5LU
